Scott is Co-Owner and CEO of Allied Video Productions. Scott joined the company in 1990 as an unpaid intern while attending college. After receiving degrees in Television Production from Mount Hood Community College and Speech Communications from OSU, he joined the staff full time. Since coming on board, Scott has emphasized work in events, public relations, education and dramatic work. His work spans everything from commercials to music festivals, and work for network television. His clients include Travel Oregon, Oregon Wine Board, Salem Leadership Foundation, Salem-Keizer Education Foundation, Salem Area Chamber of Commerce, Basic Rights Oregon, Boys and Girls Club, United Way, Oregon Judicial Department, Liberty House, City of Salem, Salem Film Festival, Oregon Banker's Association, Oregon Hospital, C-SPAN, and many others.
Jeff joined the staff at Allied Video Productions in 1997 and became a Co-Owner and COO in October 2002. Before that, Jeff served as a producer and production supervisor at Salem TCI/Viacom over an eight-year period. In addition to managing the local production department for TCI, he produced television ads, infomercials, and documentaries. Jeff has a degree in Zoology from the University of Texas as well as film and video production training from the Northwest Film Center in Portland. His work includes a diverse selection of projects; from hundreds of TV commercials to informational videos; from documentaries to music videos. Jeff's clients include Family Building Blocks, YWCA, Catholic Community Services, Stand for Children, TecLabs, the Statesman Journal, and countless small businesses. Jeff has traveled extensively in Latin America and has excellent conversational skills in Spanish.
Dan joined the Allied Video team in 1999, becoming a Co-Owner and CFO in October 2002. Before working for AVP, Dan was the lead programmer for Interactive Design Associates, a company that produced computer based training. Combined with his artistic skills, Dan is able to create dynamic visual presentations of complex information and materials. His work includes local and national commercials, promotional videos for air and web and informational videos. Dan has a hand in most productions due to his extended knowledge in motion graphics, visual effects, compositing, color correction and DVD authoring. Dan has attended Liberty University, Chemeketa Community College and Portland State University. His clients include Agri-Business Council of Oregon, Autodesk, Astley Consulting Group, BAM Agency, Barney and Worth, Capitol Auto Group, Main Street Software, Opus Creative, Pac/West, Salem Area Chamber of Commerce, Willamette Valley Hospice and many others. When Dan is not at the office, he can typically be found on a golf course or spending time with his wife, Jill and their 2 dogs, Duncan and Dexter.
Brian joined Allied Video Productions in the summer of 2006. With over 13 years of experience, Brian learned his craft by purchasing a camera and shooting everything he could, learning production by a hands-on approach. Brian can work on all aspects of a production and enjoys pushing the limits of his artistic and graphic ability. Some of his clients include the Willamette Valley Rehabilitation Center, ODA, OCAPA, Stand for Children, Red Cross and the Salem Chamber of Commerce to name just a few. Brian is an active member of the Salem community; he currently serves on the board of the Salem Progressive Film Series. He also co-founded, be, LLC, which was responsible for bringing the first "Before I Die" wall to Oregon and co-organized TEDxSalem, Salem's first TEDx event. Brian was also honored with the award of "The Original"; Statesman Journal's "20 under 40" in 2011.
BrAd joined Allied Video Productions in April of 2013, bringing with him almost 20 years of experience in the industry. He describes his job as such: herd cats (Producer), shoot them (Director of Photography), and then arrange them in a pleasing manner (Editor). BrAd began his career in Texas, working in live television, feature & commercial film production and everything in between. Most recently, he was working in Eastern Washington, producing marketing, training, corporate and commercial video projects for local, regional and national clients. His clients at AVP have included the YWCA and the Salem Chamber of Commerce, with many more to come!
Brenda joined the team in 2007, filling the shoes of an office manager who had been with AVP for 16 years. Brenda manages accounts payable and accounts receivable as well as payroll and the rest of our bookwork. In addition, Brenda manages our database of more than 25 years worth of videotape and disc storage – essential to our workflow. Brenda also assists in reception and duplication duties as needed.
Tyler is the first voice you typically hear when you call AVP. He joined the team during the spring of 2010 and has quickly became indispensible. In addition to answering the phones, Tyler assists all the members of the team with duplication, disc printing, scanning, shipping and a myriad of other essential tasks. An avid runner, he has participated in the Hood to Coast and Spokane to Sandpoint Relays, as well as completed the Los Angeles and Whidbey Island Marathons.
Every year, Dave oversees hundreds of events at the Salem Convention Center in his roles as Manager of our dedicated AV Technicians. In addition to his role at SCC, he works various roles in field production, post production and live events. He graduated with degrees in Television Production from Mount Hood Community College and Speech Communication from Oregon State University. Before joining AVP as a regular employee in 2007, Dave freelanced for the company for almost fifteen years. During this time he also worked for various cable networks and other independent productions. When not at work he has numerous hobbies, from Morris dancing to archeology.
Jason Frost is one of Allied Video Production's dedicated AV Technicians at the Salem Convention Center. Jason has spent his years prior to coming on board AVP's staff list playing bass guitar in several bands from Reno, Nevada to Austin, Texas. Jason untraditionally joined the US Navy at age 30 as a photographer, after which he pursued his A.A.S. in Commercial Music Management in Austin, and then a B.S. in Audio Production in Philadelphia. Jason is previously credited for ADR work, dialogue editing for a Russian cartoon series, classical ensemble recording, live guest in-studio radio engineering, and occasional grip work. When he isn't recording his alter ego music identity "The Army of Twins" (Jason actually has a twin Brother!), he enjoys watching tons of movies, perusing the latest tech gadgets in magazines, record shopping, and devouring new music as he comes across it.
Casey Brooks is one of Allied Video Production's dedicated AV Technicians at the Salem Convention Center. Casey began his love of video production in high school when he asked his parents to buy him a VHS Camcorder over a computer. After earning his degree in Television Production from Columbia College-Hollywood, Casey began his career working in the Original Programming department at Comcast and Charter Cable Communications in the Los Angeles area. During a five year span there, Casey completed many projects that included live events, promotional spots and television programs for local, on demand and network broadcasts. He also served as a Camera Operator for several reality and pilot television shows as well as independent films. After returning home to Oregon, Casey worked as a News Production Engineer for Portland's FOX affiliate KPTV/KPDX for over three years.
